SECOND SUMMER is not just a fashion label - it’s a way of life. Born out of the desire to escape the ordinary and live a more free-spirited way inspired by the effortlessly cool island of Ibiza. We are not escaping reality, but simply renouncing the unnecessary, to live more sustainably, consciously and purposefully - and our collections embody this ethos. We don't follow trends, instead we believe in building a trans-seasonal wardrobe that is made to last.

Each piece is meticulously designed in the UK and through mini capsule collections we offer versatile pieces, which can be mixed and matched to build a complete wardrobe. 100% linen and cotton separates form the base to the Second Summer woman's wardrobe.

CONCIOUS PRACTICES

Committed to producing sustainable, slow-fashion staples, Second Summer swimwear is made from OEKO TEX® certified biodegradable nylon - AMNI Soul Eco® 6.6 textile yarn. This innovative yarn represents a major advance in sustainability, it is 100% biodegradable and recyclable, can decompose by 50% in one year and is completely dissolved in three years. The dyeing step is also eliminated by instead inserting a special tone to the wire, which in addition avoids the risk of staining and also prevents color fading. Our swimwear is also super soft to touch, provides extreme comfort, breathability, moisture management, easy-care, and easy washing. It also provides protection against UVA and UVB rays and is CO2 controlled.

All our swimwear is designed in the UK and manufactured in Brazil in a PETA Vegan-approved factory. Swimwear styles are fully lined and designed with removable pad support.
